Colchester has scheduled the 2022 Annual Winter Carnival. The winter tradition brings families to the Colchester High School campus to enjoy three days packed with entertainment and fun.
The carnival will include food concessions, games, crafts, art and various other activities. A theme is chosen each year and is yet to be determined for this event. Once the theme is established, attendees are encouraged to dress in a related costume.
Vendors often need supplies such as Banners for their spots at public events. Banner printing is handled by local Print shops and can include text, graphics, and images. The banner can have built-in grommets to make hanging it easy.
One of the highlights of the festival is the Colchester’s Got Talent show. Residents will have the opportunity to show off their talent on stage in dance, song and other performances. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three in each category. The auditions for the Colchester’s Got Talent show will begin in January.
The Winter Carnival has a planning committee with openings for residents to participate. Anyone interested in being on the committee can call 802-264-5640 for details. Volunteers are also needed to assist with the many tasks involved with producing and managing a carnival.
The Colchester Winter Carnival will take place February 4, 5, and 6, 2022. More information will be available soon, including ticket pricing and other details.
