The annual Colchester Winter Carnival will take place at Colchester High School in the new year, and will feature the most popular session of the event on Friday night, as Colchester’s Got Talent brings some highly talented residents to the stage.
Auditions for the talent show will be held in January. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three performances at the event.
The carnival packs in many activities during the busy weekend in addition to the talent show. Food, arts, and crafts vendors will be onsite offering a treasure of treats and unique gifts. The vendors will be positioned both outside and inside of the venue.
Vendors often contact local Print shops to order Business Cards prior to taking part in a public event. Having an ample supply of cards is important so the vendors can give out their contact information for future sales inquiries and purchases.
The carnival’s planning committee is looking for volunteers to help organize and coordinate the event. Interested parties can call 802-264-5640 and speak with the committee chair to learn more. There is also a volunteer section on the website.
Colchester Winter Carnival will be held on February 4, 5, and 6. The Colchester High School is located at 131 Laker Lane. LCATV will be filming the entire event so it will be available online for those not attending in person.
