Residents from surrounding areas including Colchester will have the opportunity to participate in a virtual career fair in the coming weeks.
Champlain College will host the Spring 2021 Virtual Career Fair allowing alumni and students to learn about job opportunities for full-time, part-time, internships, and seasonal openings. Professional development courses along with employer information will also be made available.
The virtual career fair will take place on the Handshake platform that presents employers with two types of engagement. Group sessions are set for 30 minutes with employers giving overview presentations followed by a Q&A session. A one-on-one session is set for 10 minutes giving private conversations between candidates and employers.
Registration for alumni and students began on February 1 and sessions may be scheduled at this time. Additional resources are available including Prepare for the Fair workshop which can be accessed through the career collaborative events calendar.
Brochures are often used to promote upcoming job fairs and related activities. Local Print shops can assist with brochure printing to ensure professional results. They are most often printed in full color with in fold-over style or trifold, depending on the quantity of content and images.
