Annual event brings Vermont business together

The Vermont Chamber of Commerce's Business and Industry Expo is taking place for two days this May. The annual event is expected to feature over 200 exhibitors and attract at least 3,000 visitors.

There are several special events taking place during the expo, including a breakfast with Senator Leahy, a Building Blocks seminar series (which costs $10 for each or $30 to attend all four), and a networking reception. Guests can attend two luncheons with speakers, and there will be panel discussions, the Centennial Business Awards ceremony, and themed exhibitor pavilions such as Electronics Technology.

The Deanne C. Davis Outstanding Business of the Year Award will be presented during the opening ceremonies.

This event is expected to attract some of the top business leaders from all over Vermont, including nearby Hinesburg. It is likely that many of those planning to attend will be placing a new business card printing order.

The Business and Industry Expo is taking place at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center in Burlington from May 21 to 22. Admission is free until May 15 and $10 after. A super pass is also available for $130, which will cover all special events.

The breakfast with Senator Leahy is being held on May 21 beginning at 8:00 AM, and tickets are $35. Call 802-223-3443 for more information.
