Springfields event celebrates childrens literature

An upcoming event in Springfield will feature the fun and excitement of children’s literature.

The Read with Carylee Road Trip – Children’s Book Expo is the brainchild of Carylee, the “DMV’s Tutu Queen” (named for her purple tutu), who shares the magic of Books for children with young readers, who also have a chance to meet the authors.

Storytelling is the heart of the event, where children can hear about colorful characters, limitless possibilities, and captivating adventures, the very essence of children’s literature. Authors from the area will be at the event, giving readers a chance to chat with writers who have created the worlds they love. From tales of adventure to simpler picture Books for very young children, there will be something for each child to learn. There will also be interactive exhibits and storytelling sessions where authors with diverse viewpoints will share their narratives.

Carylee’s events inspire creativity, promote diversity, and help to encourage a love of reading in children of every age. She also has a YouTube program, “Read with Carylee,” and is a literacy advocate and children’s book author herself.

Carylee will be bringing her colorful vehicle, Books, and other fun items to Vim & Victor, a gastropub within The St. James Complex, on September 28, from 12.00 pm until 4.00 pm. Vim & Victor is at 6805 Industrial Road in Springfield. In planning for an event like this, an organizer could use flyer printing to create handouts for attendees, perhaps listing suggested reading.
