Special Christmas Market planned in Springfield

A market that is coming to Springfield will give visitors a chance to experience a different culture.

The 2nd Annual Ethiopian Christmas Market is a pop-up event, where small businesses will gather to provide unique products to celebrate the season. Attendees will be able to support local businesses at the same time they discover one-of-a-kind items for those on their gift lists.

There will be a wide range of handmade items from local artisans, non-profit organizations, and products imported from Ethiopia. This will give shoppers a chance to explore a culture that is still not widely known in the United States.

A small market like this will also give visitors a chance to talk to the creators and learn about the history of their products. The market will be festive, with decorations, holiday music, and a welcoming, cheerful environment. Organizers of events like this may ask printers to use banner printing to create decorations.

People who attend will be helping to support and grow small businesses in the Springfield community at the same time they can purchase items that cannot be found elsewhere, and make very special gifts for special people.

The event will also help to enhance the spirit of the community by encouraging and celebrating entrepreneurship and creativity of local artisans.

The 2nd Annual Ethiopian Christmas Market runs for two days, December 7, from 10.00 am until 9.00 pm, and December 8, from 11.00 am to 7.00 pm, and the Springfield Town Center.
