The Ladies in Red have organized an upcoming sorority reunion.
A reunion of members of the Alpha Eta Sorority will be celebrating their charter and Founders Day. The agenda lays out the plans for the festivities. The weekend begins with a Meet and Greet in the lobby of the Embassy Suites, where participants will check in, and have a chance to attend happy hour. The Meet and Greet runs from 5.00 pm until 10.00 pm, and then at 10.30 a party bus will take participants on a tour of Washington, D.C., including a stop at midnight at Howard University to celebrate the Founders.
The second day begins with breakfast at 9.00 am, followed by a community service event, performed until 12.00 pm. The sorority is known for its engagement with the community.
The evening of the second day it’s time for dinner and a program. The event runs from 6.00 pm until 8.00 pm, and then the party runs from 9.00 pm until 1.00 am.
The Alpha Eta Reunion begins January 12 and continues through the entire weekend, ending on January 14. The venue is the Embassy Suites by Hilton Springfield on Loisdale Road in Springfield. Details on the parties and the act of service will be finalized later. When events like this are planned, organizers could use flyer printing to create an agenda for the entire weekend, including a timetable so people know what time transport leaves.
