A special event is coming up in Springfield that will raise funds to help students.
The Phi Kappa Zeta Chapter of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority is holding its Annual Scholarship Gala, which it is calling a combination of the Met Gala and Bridgerton. The renowned Met Gala is an annual fundraising event that supports the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, located in Manhattan, while “Bridgerton” is a hugely popular television series set in an alternate Regency London. The Regency era is considered an age of culture and refinement among the elite.
This is a formal event, so everyone is urged to dress in their finest and prepare to enjoy an evening of style, elegance, and notable moments. Proceeds from the evening will go to support scholarship programs.
DJ Idea will be providing some of the music, and the band SoundChekk will be performing live.
By attending the event, participants consent to follow the Phi Kappa Zeta Chapter’s policy for releasing photos. This includes using, printing, or publishing, or distributing photos electronically, for advertising and publicity purposes.
The gala is scheduled for March 29, beginning at 7.00 pm, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Springfield. The event is open to members of the public who are 21 years of age and older. When they plan evenings like this, organizers may decide to work with banner printing to create appropriate decorations for the venue.
