StageCoach Theatre Company is hosting an American Revolution-themed murder mystery dinner in Chantilly this summer.
Spies and Cyanide is an interactive murder mystery set in 1779. In the story, a loyalist printer is murdered, and the investigation reveals ties to a conspiracy related to the Culper Spy Ring. Attendees will participate in the search and try to find the killer before the answer is revealed at the end of the event. StageCoach Theatre rates the show as a Classic Whodunit, which is family friendly and comparable to a PG-13 movie.
Doors open 30 minutes before dinner, and the show begins 45 minutes after dinner. There will be a 15-to-20-minute intermission. Dinner is a taco bar with chicken, steak, black beans, veggies, and a variety of toppings. Cookies will be served for dessert.
Tickets are available on StageCoach Theatre Company’s website now for $61 per person plus fees. The ticket price includes the show, dinner, and dessert. Craft beer from the venue’s self-serve beer wall, hard seltzer, wine, and soft drinks will be available for purchase. Local theater companies often use flyer printing services to promote their events.
There will be two Spies and Cyanide shows at Ono Offshore in Chantilly, on Saturday, August 8, starting at 5:30 pm, and Sunday, August 9, starting at 12:30 pm.
