Chantilly rec center to host rubber duck hunt

The Cub Run Rec Center in Chantilly is hosting an Easter-themed swimming event this April.

Designed to be a creative twist on a traditional Easter egg hunt, Bubbles and Bunnies invites participating children to help the Easter Bunny find his lost ducks in the indoor leisure pool. Children will receive a basket to collect their rubber ducks. After gathering the little quackers, families can use the rec center’s lazy river, slides and other water play equipment.

Parents can sign their children up online. The fee is $21 per child, and the event is open to kids ages two to twelve. Two-year-olds and any children who cannot swim need to be accompanied by an adult or teen aged 16 or older. While smaller children are welcome the use the pool, children must be at least 48 inches tall to use the waterslides.

Parents will need to sign up for a specific timeslot, which will last one hour and 15 minutes. These start at 9:00 am, 10:30 am, and 12:00 pm. The 1:30 pm session is reserved for children with sensory sensitivities. Local recreation centers often use poster printing services to promote their special events.

Bubbles and Bunnies will take place on Saturday, April 4 at Cub Run Rec Center in Chantilly. The day will wrap up at 2:45 pm.
