Coffee and chocolate festival to return to Chantilly area

The DMV Coffee and Chocolate Festival will run for two weekends in different locations this fall.

It will feature seminars, live chocolate sculpting, vendors, tastings, and photo opportunities. Vendors often use banner printing services to display their business names at this type of large convention. The vendor lineup includes multiple coffee and chocolate shops as well as other food shops, artisans, and crafters.

This year’s event will include an exhibit featuring a four-foot-tall chocolate sculpture of George Washington, made by sculptor and storyteller Paul Joachim. The interactive exhibit will include drinking chocolate samples and information about the importance of chocolate during the Revolutionary War period.

Tickets, which are sold separately for each weekend, are available online now. General admission is $17.99, and VIP tickets are $40. General admission allows access to one day of the festival, and VIP admission is to both days of the selected weekend, starting an hour before general ticketholders on Saturday. The first weekend will be at the Adventist HealthCare Fieldhouse in Boyds, Maryland. The second will be at Dulles Town Center, which is closer to Chantilly and other towns near Dulles Airport.

The DMW Coffee and Chocolate Festival installment of more interest to Chantilly locals is on Saturday, November 14 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday, November 15 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. It will be in Maryland the weekend before.
