An art program is being put on by the Smartest Artist over the next three months.
There will be 12 classes in total, which will happen in sequence, providing information about art elements and design principles and how to build on them. Individuals will also learn about the skills involved with technical art and the history of art. Some concepts that will be covered are the theory of color, perspective, observational drawing, acrylic media, and painting manipulation.
The cost for the program is $160 and registration can be completed through Hisawyer.com. This fee will cover all the necessary materials. The class has a capacity of 20 participants. Program participants must be between seven and nine years old. If a cancellation is needed, the Smartest Artist should be notified in writing prior to the start of the following month. Refunds will not be provided for classes that are missed, although the organizers say they will try to arrange for the instructor to be available again.
Print shops can be a great way for instructors to provide class guides to attendees in programs such as this one.
The program will take place on Monday afternoons from June 5 to August 28, starting at 4:00 pm and ending at 5:30 pm. Its location will be at 7938 S 3500 E, Suite B-200, Cottonwood Heights.
