Cottonwood Heights gets visit from genre-pushing band

The Lucy Avenue Band will be performing in Cottonwood Heights this January. The Hog Wallow Pub will be the hosting venue.

Lucy Avenue Band, hailing from Salt Lake City, is rooted in classic alternative country tunes, drawing inspiration from bands such as Wilco and Turnpike Troubadours, although the band offers a twist on the usual sound of classic country music, Lucy Avenue steers away from convention. This is uncommon within a genre usually known for its strict traditions.

Under the guidance of Devin Lee, this band brings forth a fast-paced alternative country sound that encompasses elements of high-energy rock and roll. Their performances are characterized by brooding narratives woven within dark ballads with a touch of psychedelia.

The cost to attend the event will be $10. Tickets can be bought through the Hog Wallow listing. To obtain more information, attendees can contact the venue via phone at ‪(801) 733-5567. Attendees must be older than 21 to enter the venue, and IDs must be presented for entry.

Flyer printing can be a great way to provide the community with information about bands such as this one.

The day and time of the event will be Sunday, January 13, starting at 9:30 pm and likely continuing until after midnight. It will be at 3200 East Big Cottonwood Canyon Rd, Cottonwood Heights.
