Midland is well-known for oil and gas exploration, and industry professionals can prepare to learn of current emerging challenges and opportunities when a major conference comes to the city.
The Society for Petroleum Engineers (SPE) will conduct its 2025 Permian Basin Energy Conference in mid-November. The gathering provides industry professionals with a chance to gain knowledge in new research topics, new field technologies, and problem-solving solutions from various companies. This year’s conference will focus on topics of both local and global concern, such as water management, low-carbon energy solutions, and well operations. Presenters for the conference include representatives from ConocoPhillips, Chevron, and Diamondback Energy. Business Cards and banner printing are both often useful at industry conferences.
The Society of Petroleum Engineers got its start in the early 1900s as the American Institute of Mining Engineers. Since those days, the organization has changed its name to the current one and has over 132,000 members in 146 countries around the globe. It focuses on helping members share expertise, hosting more than 100 conferences each year.
The SPE Permian Basin Energy Conference will be held November 18-20 at the Bush Convention Center. The address of the venue is 105 North Main Street in Midland. Registration is required for attendees, with various participation levels available, including SPE members/non-members, students, and exhibitors.
