Bags for Bowls, a cornhole tournament and benefit concert in support of the non-profit pet supply pantry Permian Paws In Need, is returning to Midland this August.
Throughout the day, the cornhole tournament will be played with teams competing to win individual prizes, as well as a VIP table for the concert that will have exclusive bar service. There will also be BBQ available, a raffle that can be joined, and a silent auction in which attendees can bid for various items.
This year, the benefit concert will showcase Texas Red Dirt Country music, with opening act Gatlin Johnson and headlining act the Logan Ryan Band. All proceeds from the tickets sold will go toward Permian Paws in Need, ensuring that pets across the Permian Basin continue to be fed, healthy, and happy.

Bags for Bowls will be held on Saturday, August 15 at Rooster’s Backyard. The venue will be open all day with the cornhole tournament starting at 3:30 pm, while the concert starts at 9:00 pm. General Admission (GA) and Lawn Table tickets are available for purchase. With GA tickets, attendees are allowed to bring their own lawn chairs.
