Midland will join cities across the USA that will be wishing America a very happy 250th birthday, and this “Star Spangled Salute” will be split between two local venues.
Centennial Park and the Bush Convention Center will be hosting Fourth of July fun, and it will be family friendly. The festivities will open with the Children’s Parade, and after dark, it will wrap up with a fireworks display, entertainment and more.
The Children’s Parade will start at the parking lot across from Midland Municipal Court, and it will begin at 10:00 am. Once evening has arrived, it will be time for an outdoor concert with a beer garden and fun zone. The fireworks display is set to begin at 10:00 pm and will be launched from the roof of the Bush Convention Center. Everyone may want to bring portable seating, and food and drinks can be purchased. Admission to the gathering will be free.
Communities planning a special celebration may want to spread the word to as many as possible, which may help ensure it will be a success.
