Fathers and sons will be getting ready to have fun in Midland next month, as a Nerf night featuring teamwork and friendly competition is set to open.
The Northwest YMCA Father & Son Nerf Night is coming to Midland to provide an action-packed night to dads and sons in the area who want to bring back the nostalgia of 1990s Nerf wars. The event is being organized by the Midland YMCA and will pit fathers against their sons in the ultimate showdown for bragging rights via a game of Capture the Flag.
Participants will need to use strategy to plan their next moves, providing excitement and the chance to make new family memories. It will be an evening of laughter and the feeling of being in an action movie. Poster printing is a colorful and attention-grabbing way to promote events like this by using images and text to provide details and build excitement.
It is open to children between 5 and 12 years old, along with their fathers or father figures. Participants will need to bring their own Nerf blaster and protective glasses. Organizers will provide Nerf darts and refreshments.
Northwest YMCA in Midland will host the event, which is scheduled for the evening of Thursday, June 25 at 6:00 PM. Spots are limited and can be reserved online for $20 per adult and child, with each additional child’s registration costing $10.
