A popular newcomer to the country music scene has planned a tour for this winter, and fans can anticipate a show being held in Midland.
Colter Wall has announced that he will perform in Midland next month as part of his Memories and Empties tour, as he takes a break from his life on his ranch in Saskatchewan. The tour will share some of the hits from his fifth studio album, and those who attend will hear music that brings back two-stepping and shades of Merle Haggard and other contemporary artists.
The album, which was produced by RCA Records and La Honda Records, was recorded with help from one of Wall’s long-time mentors, Patrick Lyons. Nine of the songs on the album were written by Wall, with the other two tunes being covers of other artists. Poster printing is a classic way for promoters and organizers to bring awareness to upcoming concerts and musical events.
The tour will take Colter Wall through Canada, the American West, and Texas before culminating in a performance at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. Fans will want to reserve their tickets while they are still available.
The show will be held at the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center in Midland on Thursday, February 12. The doors open at 7:30 PM. Tickets start at $67.45 and can be purchased online.
