Orientation session on offer for McKinney campus students
The shift from high school or the working world to post-secondary education can sometimes be a challenge, but Collin College’s McKinney Campus has planned an event that can help to make sure its future students will hit the ground running.
The college will be hosting an orientation session for its new students, and attendance is mandatory for those who will be registering to take courses at the institution. It will run throughout the afternoon, and there is no fee to take a seat in the event. A parent or other guest is welcome.
During the event, the attendees will have an opportunity to learn more about the college and what sorts of supports and other services that it offers to help its students achieve academic success. The parents and other guests will be asked to stay behind during the campus tour, however, they will be invited to participate should space allow.
Taking part in this sort of activity can make the transition to post-secondary studies less nerve-wracking. Packages that include brochures, promotional pens, notepads, and other corporate gifts can be supplied to each of the future learners, and this can aid in ensuring that they will be well prepared once their classes begin.
The McKinney Campus of Collin College has planned several orientation sessions for new students throughout the summer months. These will be offered at 2400 Community Avenue, and its online listing includes all of the dates when these event will be held.
