Longtime fans of R&B music are slated to attend a McKinney community festival taking place in May. This event will be showcasing local talent, and it is open to all age groups.
The 2026 McKinney R&B Festival provides McKinney residents to enjoy live performances, to interact with others, and to enjoy a day out in traditional springtime Texas weather. Not only will this event be headlined by several well-known rhythm and blues artists, but other on-site attractions are available to all attendees. These include over 30 retail vendors, refreshments, and alcohol for those over the age of 21.
The McKinney R&B Festival will be featuring the talents of artists including Mokah Soulfly, and DJ Tav alongside Don Diego and the Razz Band. This event is being sponsored by the McKinney Community Development Corporation, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the McKinney Neighborhood Legacy Association.
Festivals featuring live music will often employ the same advertising methods as similar open-air affairs. Some techniques include mass flyer printing, creating playbills describing the artists, and placing Posters in locations around the community.
The 2026 McKinney R&B Festival is taking place on Saturday, May 9th from 3 PM to 10 PM. The event will be hosted by TUPPS Brewery located 410 East Louisiana Street, Building #2. Tickets are priced at $23.18 per person, and children under 12 can enter for free.
