McKinney museums Halloween celebration to welcome local families

This Halloween, McKinney’s ghosts and goblins will still be able to do some shelling out during an event hosted at the Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary.

In response to the pandemic, the organizers of the annual Halloween at the Heard celebration have made some adjustments to the activity to help make it safe for all the guests. While it will not be as large as in previous years, there will still be lots of fun on offer, and RSVPs are strongly suggested.

The kids who take part will be welcome to dress in their favourite spooky costume for the festivities, and they will be trick or treating along the Dinosaurs Live! Trail. The Promotional Products, candy, and other items will be distributed to the children for as long as supplies last, and admission to the function is included as part of the general admission price to enter the museum.

Tickets can be purchased online through the museum’s website, and they start at $12 for adults and $9 for kids.

While this version of Halloween at the Heard may be smaller than in previous years, it will still offer big fun and surprises. The date for the event will be Saturday, October 24, with a rain date set for the following Saturday, October 31, which is Halloween itself.
