This fall, residents of McKinney will be celebrating with a day filled with activities for all ages, and everyone is welcome to join the party.
The community is hosting its Fall Festival, and it will offer fun for all ages and interests. It will kick off with a Monster Dash 5k run, and the rest of the day will have lots of excitement hosted by TUPPS Brewery.
The participants in the run will each receive a t-shirt that includes a graphic design planned just for the occasion as well as a finisher's medal and other swag. Awards will be presented to the top finishers, and all the participants are encouraged to dig their favorite spooky costume from the back of their closet and wear it in the race.
The fun at the brewery will start at 10:00 am, and it will offer lots of family friendly activities that are free of charge. Two bands will perform, and there will also be a pumpkin patch, costume contest, vendor alley and beer tent. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Warriors Keep, which is a locally based organization that helps veterans readjust to civilian life.
