A spooky day of entertainment is around the corner for Denton residents seeking memorable ways to celebrate Halloween for a good cause.
The October Spooktacular is set to begin next month, with the goal of raising funds to provide food for Seniors’ pets. The event is an ideal space for attendees to enjoy food, beverages, and networking opportunities. The funds generated by participants will be donated to the Meals on Wheels Senior Paws organization, a group that aims to ensure all pets receive quality food and nourishment.
The Senior Paws Program receives no additional funding and depends on money donated or raised by such events. All individuals working for the program do so on a volunteer basis. Flyer printing is a fantastic way to raise awareness of such causes while promoting fundraiser sponsors.
Attendees can anticipate mega raffles, which will give each person an opportunity to go home with prizes. All prizes will be donated by members and organizations from the Denton community. A magic show will also be held to entertain and inspire children at the Spooktacular. The party will be capped off with a performance by the event’s mystery musical guest.
The day of spooky splendor will be held at the Veterans of Foreign Wars post on Saturday, October 19, from noon to 4:00 PM. General admission tickets cost $25 per person and can be purchased online.
