The city of Denton has become known for its artistic side over the years, and an annual event slated to take place in September will help to showcase its impact across the North Texas region.
The 2026 Denton Arts and Jazz Festival is no stranger to on-stage talent. Some musicians who have previously headlined this event include Chick Corea, McCoy Tyner, Buddy Guy, The Original Blues Brothers Band, Robert Cray, and Wayne Shorter. It has also hosted local legends such as Brave Combo, The UNT One O'Clock Lab Band, and Marcia Ball. However, this year's lineup has yet to be announced.
Although jazz will be the primary focus, guests can enjoy a number of additional on-site attractions. Some of these include a rock climbing wall for children and adolescents, on-site food vendors, arts and crafts, face painting, and carnival rides.
