Study concludes Texas among best remote working states

According to a list compiled by WalletHub, Texas occupies the No. 7 slot on the “Best Work from Home States” list.

The career platform, The Ladders, predicts that 25 percent of North America’s professional jobs will be remote by the end of this year; fortunately, according to Wallet Hub, the Lone Star State is well positioned to weather this change in workplace venue.

As working remotely increases, it brings with it question of where is the best place to live in this new employment paradigm. For Dallas residents, the answer might very well be right where they are.

Large changes in foot or automobile traffic patterns require small businesses to consult with printing services to determine how to adjust their marketing.

To put together its list, WalletHub looked at 12 key metrics by which it compared the District of Columbia and the 50 states. Among the data compared were typical home size and the expense of internet service. These two metrics demonstrated how feasible working from home is so as far comfort, cost and safety are concerned.

With a rating of No. 1 being best and a No. 25 being average, Texas took the No. 1 spot for average square footage of house space. The state came in second place for its low-cost internet service and No.19 for its share of potential telecommuters.

New Jersey came in No. 1 as the best place to be for remote working while Alaska came in last.
