The returning Dallas St. Patrick’s Day Parade, after a two-year absence, will have as its celebrity Grand Marshal: the legendary Dirk Nowitzski of the Dallas Mavericks.
Nowitzski is an appropriate choice as the Dallas Mavericks have been the parade’s biggest sponsor for the last six years and will be presenting this year’s parade as well. Nowitzski spent 21 years playing for the Mavericks before retiring in 2019.
According to information released by the Greenville Avenue Business Association (GAABA), the March 12 2022 event will be the 41st Dallas St. Patrick’s Parade. It is the southwest’s biggest St. Patrick’s event and is attended by over 125,000 each year.
The assistance of a banner printing service helps to not only inform the public of an event but can also point out locations and build excitement.
On March 12, the day of the parade, The Festival Zone at 511 Greenville Avenue will open at 9 am with exhibitor booths, food trucks, family friendly activities, sponsor exhibits as well as a VIP Tailgate area. Activities will continue till 3 pm.
The Comerica Bank Family Zone will make its 4th annual appearance with family events and bleacher seating. Meanwhile, at Energy Square, the Official Concert area of the Dallas St. Patrick’s Parade will offer a parade VIP viewing area with food trucks, concessions and DJs.
A new addition this year will be a concert featuring the Toadies, produced by Jaxon Beer Garden, from 3:30-5.00pm at Energy Square.
