A JW Marriott 15-floor hotel containing 283 rooms will be built on top of a 10-level parking garage in downtown Dallas by a local development company.
The location of the new hotel will benefit area businesses by attracting visitors and residents. Offices, restaurants, city attractions, and entertainment venues are all within walking distance for the average person.
Brochure printing provides a way for hotels to make initial contact with future visitors; they can be supplied to travel agencies and chambers of commerce to be distributed to future visitors to the city.
Founded in 1984, the Sam Moon Group first drew attention for its sale of women’s handbags and accessories at wholesale prices. The enterprise has expanded its operations to include a number of industries that run the gamut from retail products to hotels and other commercial real estate.
An urban bar conceived to be like street level New York City and Chicago bar will be located on the ground floor, accessible by hotel guests as well as passersby. The hotel’s restaurant will be on the 11th floor within the sky lobby and will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Indoor and outdoor seating with a view of the Dallas Museum of Art is available.
Other amenities at the hotel include meeting space, a grand ballroom, spa, fitness center and rooftop pool deck with bar.
It is estimated that the JW Marriott will be open for business February 2022.
