A new restaurant with a unique theme is in the works for a north Dallas neighborhood.
Republic Grille will celebrate Texas-style cuisine in the space formally occupied by Tupinamba at 12300 Inwood Rd. The partnership for the new establishment jumped at the chance to take over the vacated space once Tupinamba moved to Walnut Hill Lane and US 75.
One of the new owners, John Kinzer, says the bar-centered restaurant will feature a heavy commitment to bourbon, as well as classic dishes with a Texas flair. The establishment will expand its celebration of the Republic of Texas beyond food and drink to include any available Texas products for the Republic Grille.
Its opening is provisionally set in April; so The Republic Grille’s has likely already consulted with a printing company regarding Logo Design and promotional plans. Banners and Posters announcing the restaurant’s opening and marking its location could soon go up; indeed, some may have already done so.
Partners in the new business have reason to believe they have a good chance for success, since the area chosen for the restaurant is one that has a lack of late night dining options. Other area establishments shut down at 9:30 pm, creating a void for the new eatery to fill. Moreover, by moving into a location that was previously occupied by a popular eating establishment, Republic Grille’s owners foresee a built-in clientele.
