Dallas and two other Lone Star State cities are on the most recent world’s 100 best cities list.
Resonance Consultancy Ltd., a Vancouver, Canada-based company that specializes in marketing, research and strategy for the tourism, real estate and economic development sectors, was responsible for the study. The company’s annual rankings are arrived at by looking at cities in the world with metropolitan populations of at least a million and quantifying their relative qualities.
Dallas took the No. 47 spot on the 100 best cities list, joining two other Texas municipalities – Austin and Houston, which ranked No. 43 and No. 42 respectively. At the top of this year’s list were London at No. 1, with Paris and New York coming in second and third respectively, followed by Tokyo and Dubai rounding up the top five.
Cities earning a favorable ranking from a comparison study frequently turn to printing services to promote themselves via those results to attract new businesses and talent.
Pivotal factors included the fact that Dallas’s LGBTQ+ community was the sixth largest among the cities, and the city also garnered the No. 6 position for Airport Connectivity. The Big D also came in 24th place when it came to Global 500 companies, No. 42 for its Convention Center, and 82nd for programming as a result of its many cultural, entertainment, and dining venues.
Only 25 U.S. cities were included in the top 100.
