The award-winning St. Louis-based BBQ chain Sugarfire Smoke House has issued a release announcing its plans to open its first Dallas location this June.
Sugarfire was started in 2012 by chef Mike Johnson, who has appeared on Destination America’s BBQ Pitmasters, Food Network and Travel Channel’s Food Paradise, and Charlie Downs in St. Louis. The pair have expanded their business to nine locations in Missouri, one of which is inside the National Blues Museum, as well as making forays into the Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky markets.
The chain, known for its ribs, pulled pork and brisket, also features grass-fed burgers and in-house made sausage. Also served are salads, sandwiches and sides, which include baked beans, coleslaw, French fries, and potato salad. As with other locations, the Dallas Sugarfire will offer Ole Hickory smoker meats made-to-order, pies, cookies, milkshakes blended with pie, and boozy milkshakes.
Banner printing services are often utilized prior to the opening of a new business to not only inform the public, but also to build excitement.
The Dallas location will be the chain’s 16th and will be opened in partnership with residents Kevin and Haydee Klika in Lake Highland’s Creekside development. Sugarfire will occupy 3,200-square-feet of what was Spec’ with Fireside Pies and Alamo Drafthouse Cinema as neighbors. The new establishment will seat up to 68, plus patio space and multiple bars.
