High-energy Houston restaurant opening in Uptown Dallas
In Uptown Dallas the old Circo space is getting a new tenant this spring, Bisou Dallas.
The One Uptown building at 2619 McKinney Avenue, which has seen a variety of businesses come and go, will soon be occupied by the Houston-based high-octane restaurant-bar concept Bisou. The last business at this location was Circo, a spin-off in Dallas of New York’s Le Cirque restaurant, which lasted less than a year.
New businesses often seek a banner printing service to assist them in announcing their opening date or highlighting the site where they will be located.
Bisou, pronounced “bee-sue” is kiss in French and the new restaurant will be French inspired and bring a mix of Continental cuisine and coordinated entertainment. Additionally, the establishment will offer an extensive wine list, classic cocktails and champagne magnums; plus, the obligatory “Female Employees Walking Through The Club With Lit Sparklers.”
The One Uptown building’s newest tenant is brought to Dallas curtesy of the Houston crackerjack nightclub entrepreneur the Clé Group. The original Bisou opened in the River Oaks District of Houston in 2018; it joined the Clé Group’s other two concepts Houston nightclubs Clé and Spire.
A spokesperson for the group explained that Dallas location’s menu and other undertakings will be comparable to the Houston original. A late April or early May opening is anticipated for Bisou Dallas.
