Health-conscious eatery coming to Uptown Dallas

Uptown Dallas continues its trend toward healthy food choices with the soon arriving newest of Fox Restaurant Concepts popular fast-casual chain Flower Child.

Flower Child is Fox’s young happy, hippy restaurant concept that already has three highly successful locations in the DFW area: Addison, Inwood Village, and Preston-Royal. Joining them sometime in November will be the greatly anticipated new location, The Crescent, 2101 Cedar Spring Rd. The Henry, another of the restaurant group’s establishments, opened a Dallas location in February of this year.

A chain restaurant’s new location can generally forego creating a logo, but Menus and Stationery printers still need to be engaged. Although noted for its impressive range of gluten-free, vegetarians and vegan options, meat eaters will not go hungry; also included on the menu are chicken, steak, and salmon. A standout among its healthy options is the Mother Earth bowl, which contains a variety of ancient grains, Portobello mushrooms, arugula, sprout salad, and hemp seeds, among several other ingredients.

Unlike other locations, the newest Flower Child will sport a full-service bar as well as an assortment of shareable plates for diners in its lounge area. The Rosewood Court location will feature a private dining room and outdoor patio in addition to its main dining area. This Uptown location will be the Dallas area’s largest at 6,500 square feet.

The Rosewood Court Flower Child will be open seven days per week for lunch and dinner.
