Hugo’s Invitados, a high-end restaurant serving authentic Mexican food, will open at the Uptown Dallas McKinney & Olive Luxury tower.
This will be the second Hugo’s Invitados in the Dallas area. In October 2018, the restaurant chain opened its first local location in the Dallas suburb of Irving at the Las Colinas development. The chain is a partnership between restaurateur Hugo Miranda and entrepreneur Mark Hulme.
Chain stores or restaurants generally share the same Logo Design, although it is common for the individual enterprises to include their location in their name and incorporate it into the established logo.
In a release from J.P. Morgan Asset Management and Crescent Real Estate LLC, Hugo’s and a restaurant yet to be named will increase the total dining options in the building to eight, bringing price diversity to the Uptown Dallas location.
In McKinney & Olive’s, Hugo’s flagship location will be across from Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse. Also in the same building are Drybar and CycleBar, which do blowouts and an indoor cycling classes respectively, as well as Malibu Poke, Voila Dry Cleaning & Laundry, Cross First Bank, a shoe-shine service, a car detailing service and an electric charging station.
The McKinney & Olive building, opened for operations in August 2016 and was designed by the late Cesar Pelli, an acclaimed architect. The 20-story building is located at 2021 McKinney Ave. Hugo’s will be opening at some point in 2020.
