Country Music Truck to help Child Safety Network in Dallas

To help raise funds for the Child Safety Network, a vehicle autographed by over 100 country music stars is to be auctioned off in Dallas.

A recent press release announced that The Country Music Truck, which is arguably the rarest and most prized of country music memorabilia ever created, will be sold at the American Airlines Center by MECUM Auctions. The Classic 1955 Grand National Award-winning Chevy Cameo is appraised at over $1m and will go on tour following the auction.

The Country Music Truck got its start in 2007 at the Country Music Association Awards show when the first star, Wynonna Judd, signed the now valuable vehicle. Over the next eight years, more than 100 signatures joined Judd’s in support of making a safer country for children to live.

Following the auction, the Country Music Truck’s tour will stop at dozens of venues to allow millions of fans to see and be photographed with the vehicle. While viewing the truck, the public can gaining valuable free information, in part through the distribution of brochures, on raising safer, healthier youngsters.

The Country Music Truck will be on display for public viewing in Dallas’ American Airlines Center from November 2 through November 5. The auction is scheduled for this Saturday, November 5 and will be televised nationwide at a later time.
