The Young Women's Preparatory Network (YMPN) has created two new positions and hired Vivian Taylor and Juliette Coulter to fill them.
Taylor is the network's new Chief Program Officer, while Coulter is the new Chief Marketing Officer.
Dating back to 2002, YMPN is a not-for-profit agency that collaborates with school districts all over Texas and operates the nation’s biggest network of public, all-girls college prep schools. YMPN forged its first public-to-private partnership in 2004, teaming up with the Dallas Independent School District. Out of that partnership came Irma Rangel, the only all-girl public school in the Lone Star state at that time.
Taylor was the principal at Irma Rangel through 2014. During that period, the school excelled academically, boasting a 100% graduation rate and 100% college acceptance rate. Students won millions of dollars’ worth of scholarships. Irma Rangel has been recognized by U.S. New and World Report, the Texas Education Agency, and the U.S. Department of Education.
Meanwhile, Coulter is an accomplished public relations and marketing professional. For nearly two decades, she has run The Coulter Group, a PR firm that specializes in nonprofit communications.
Coulter has taken the helm of multiple notable projects, such as the opening of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, the Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden, and the new Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. She looks forward to bringing her experience in marketing services to YMPN.
