Dallas Inwood Village to get PopUp Bagels

The signage is already up next to the Inwood Theater at the former I Heart Yogurt Shop awaiting the arrival of the city’s newest bagel shop.

A product of Westport, Connecticut home baker Adam Goldberg along with Jeff Lewis, his cousin, created the bagel concept that would become PopUp Bagels. The duo began making bagels during the pandemic as a side project and their popularity prompted Goldberg to begin hosting bagel popups at various nearby locations.

Local Print shops have the advantage over remotely located ones including in designing effective signage.

A national uptick in interest in bagels combined with Goldberg selling the concept to an equity growth firm in 2023 has boosted the concept’s success. So far there are 23 locations of PopUp Bagels across seven states, not counting the one that will be opening here in Dallas.

The concept is a simple one with only five bagel flavors to choose from – plain, sesame, poppy, salt and everything. The rest of the menu consists of a variety of unique smears and pounds of smoked salmon.

A minimum purchase is three bagels accompanied by a tub of butter or cream cheese. No sandwiches are available and the bagels are sold whole and unsliced. Customers are encouraged to “rip and dip” their bagels which are of a lighter and softer texture than the traditional dense New York bagels.

According to a spokesperson PopUp bagel will open in early spring.
