As a result of the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center construction and redevelopment, the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Convention Center Station will be closed for three years.
Those who do not regularly go through the DART Convention Center Station may be surprised to discover that as of January 5, 2026, that station was closed. Moreover, bus Route 383 will not continue past the East Transfer Center and will be discontinued as of February 2, 2026.
A stop on the Red as well as the Blue lines, the shutdown of the Convention Center Station will affect those coming from and going into southwest Dallas. Those riders who normally would use the shuttered station will be directed to the most convenient alternative stations.
Apprising the public of changes that will affect them is just one of the many roles printing services can play for an enterprise.
DART will create for Convention Center Station customers a new GoLink Zone dedicated to supplying service for transportation originating or terminating at EBJ Union Station, the substitute bus layover location of Akard and Marilla, and Cedars Station.
Using this GoLink Zone will be restricted to travel between these three designated locations. The service will operate from 5 am to midnight, seven days a week.
Travelers can check online to see the changes or use the GoPass app during the construction period.
