A public forum at the Magnolia Theatre here in Dallas will feature architect Arthur Andersson.
The Dallas Architecture Forum’s Bob James Memorial Lecture will be given by the Austin-based architect. The co-founder of Andersson-Wise Architects will speak following a complimentary reception at the Magnolia Theatre on McKinney Avenue.
The American Institute of Architects fellow is likely to be discussing his three decades of work across the south of the country, as well as some of his recent projects in Texas.
Perhaps best known for his work in New Orleans designing the Louisiana World Exposition, Andersson is now more heavily immersed in his own town. Recent projects for Anderson-Wise include Austin’s Block 21, which is a mixed-use project. Austin City Limits’ new home and The W Hotel + Residences are each prominent components of Block 21.
A good turnout for an event such as this one is more likely when a printing company is employed to provide Posters for advertisement.
The reception starts at 6:15 pm on February 4 and is followed by the lecture at 7:00 pm. Lecture tickets can be obtained at the door and are $20 for the general public but only $5 for students, provided they present their ID. Reservations are not required, and further information is available on the Dallas Architecture Forum’s website.Get a Free Quote for Posters
