A short drive to the southeast of Dallas, The Range Vintage Trailer Resort is offering a new take on staycation.
The retro resort has had 15 open sites available since April. Guests can hook-up their Airstreams, regardless of its age, or any vintage trailer that is 25 year or older. Six trailers-for-rent, both Airstream and vintage trailers, become available June 1; bookings are already underway.
Using a brochure printing service, new establishments, particularly those that are breaking new ground with an innovative idea, can educate the public about what they have to offer.
Sarah and Paul Beauregard, owners of The Range are promoting the social distancing aspect of the campground. The distance between the concrete site pads, of which there are 22, is over 100 feet.
Each site offers unique surroundings, custom-made wooden tables and benches, and private parking. Rented trailers will be equipped with their own kitchenette, bathroom, wooden deck, A/C, grill and propane fire pit. They will also be outfitted with quality pillows, linens and low-waste toiletries.
Among the amenities offered at the resort are a dog park, communal fire pit, tree swings, hiking trails, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and three ponds to be stocked with fish. Also planned for the campground is a farm-to-table restaurant, a cedar timber events barn and a custom Airstream bar.
Open sites will rent for $98 a night, plus tax; trailer rental will be $198 plus tax per night.
