UK company TOCA Football, Inc. has plans to bring a dining and entertainment concept to the United States, starting in Dallas’ Design District.
Part of a trend of entertainment sports centers taking competitive games and turning them into casual, open-to-anyone matches, TOCA Social will bring its technology-enabled soccer experience company to 1313 Riverfront Blvd., where the century-old Padgett Printing was. The concept has been described as unique location for drinking, eating, and enjoying soccer-related entertainment and immersive games that are enjoyable for all players regardless of skill levels.
U.S. World Cup and past MLS and midfielder in the English Premier League, Eddie Lewis, founded TOCA Football and developed a good bit of the company’s technologies and training experiences. The company’s first location debuted in August 2021 at The O2 in London. It succeeding in bring in over 25,000 customers per month and attracted celebrities, athletes, and social media influencers.
Long before a future enterprise is operational, a banner printing service may have hoisted up the name of whatever enterprise is on its way.
The Dallas location is not expected to open until 2023 and will have three stories, with a total of 56,000 square feet of space. Inside, four bars serving food and drink are planned, and for playing soccer there will be 34 TOCA Boxes.
TOCA says the Dallas location will make it the biggest technology-enabled soccer experience company in the world.
