California-based Oliver Peoples’ first freestanding store in Dallas, the second in the state, will be opening soon at NorthPark Center.
The first choice in eyewear for many celebrates, Oliver Peoples carries a wide assortment of luxury optical glasses, as well as sunglasses for men and women in their new 592-square-foot boutique. The company’s first retail store was launched in West Hollywood, California. Today, there are over 30 retail stores and Oliver Peoples' products are available in over 60 countries around the world.
In most cases, high-end retailers take special care in the presentation of their product, such as the interior of their shop and even the graphic design of the Business Cards they use. In its press release, the soon-to-open shop is described by the company as “quintessential California midcentury modern aesthetic.”
Founded in 1987, Oliver Peoples’ designs are inspired by the music, fashion and art of Los Angeles, and carry a vintage appeal. Among the celebrities to have been seen sporting the luxury eyewear are Hollywood A-listers Johnny Depp, Steve Carell, Jennifer Aniston, and Demi Moore.
Oliver Peoples is scheduled to open next Friday, June 8, across from the Williams-Sonoma on Level One at the NorthPark Center. Hours of operation will be Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, and Sundays from noon to 6:00 pm.
