The California-based Laurel Concepts is in the process of opening its latest Dallas establishment – a rooftop bar with foosball tables, fried chicken and boozy snow cones on Greenville Avenue.
Eastside Social will join Laurel Tavern (which opened in 2018) and the retro-style Wah Wah Room (a bar the company opened in Spring 2019) as Laurel Concepts’ third Dallas venture. Like its predecessors. Eastside Social will be located on Greenville Avenue’s 1900 block, specifically 1928 Greenville Ave.
Stage one of the new establishment, the rooftop bar, opened July 21. Later this summer a restaurant and games room will open downstairs on the first floor. The new business’s design is that of a casual hangout, with a very limited menu but a wide assortment of drinks.
Flyer printing has proven an inexpensive and easily manageable way to introduce a new enterprise.
Specializing in fried chicken, wings are available in buffalo, Louisiana-style, and Nashville hot. Chicken sandwiches can be ordered on a potato roll and sides include crinkle-cut, seasoned fries, fried pickles, and coleslaw. Desserts are of the vending machine variety such as Ding Dongs and Hostess Twinkies.
Three flavors of boozy snow cones will be available at Eastside Social: blue raspberry with Citron vodka, tiger’s blood with Cimarron tequila, and a piña colada featuring Plantation rum.
Eastside Social is taking it slow and easy and opening only on Thursday and Friday 5:00 pm to midnight, and Saturday and Sunday noon to midnight.
