A Fourth of July blowout will be put on by The City of Dallas, the State Fair of Texas, Friends of Fair Park, and WFAA-TV at Fair Park.
Among the many attractions for families will be live music, concessions, games, and rides beginning at noon on the Fourth at the State Fair of Texas Midway. The Razzmajazz Dixieland Band will be playing throughout the Midway from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm followed by Brave Combo from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm around the Top o’ Texas Tower on the Midway.
The family friendly event is free and open to the public; however, Midway admission is $5. The admission cost will provide access to 30 rides, 19 concession stands, and 14 games the individual costs of which will vary. The Midway proceeds are earmarked for the State Fair of Texas Youth Scholarship Program.
