Greenville Avenue apartment planned for former Pietros spot

Atlanta Real Estate developer RangeWater recently announced their intent to construct an eight-story, 236 units apartment building at 5714 Richmond Avenue.

Steven Shores, president and CEO of RangeWater feels the Greenville Avenue community will be viewed favorably by potential renters for its dining and retail options, as well as its business opportunities. The company anticipates that first tenants will be moving in during Spring 2022.

Brochure printing services provide prospective tenants with floor plans and insight into how units will look, thereby helping developers sell units prior to a project’s completion.

However, the East Dallas neighborhood is mostly low-rise apartment buildings and single-family homes, and some question whether the proposed apartment building will align with the nature of the area. So far, no plans have been submitted to Planning and Zoning. If a go-ahead is given, however, the new apartments will be separated from the mega-apartment complex occupying the former Victory Towers senior center by a block.

RangeWater has numerous properties throughout the Southeast. In the Lone Star State alone, the company has four developments, including Pinnacle Ridge, located on Cockrell Hill Road here in Dallas. The one proposed for Richmond Avenue will be designed by architecture company GFF and is shown in a rendering to resemble a large box and will be located across the road from businesses such as the Rapscallion, Libertine Bar, and Trader Joe’s.
