Gourmet food coming together soon with late-night hours

A new restaurant concept called Invasion, will be bringing gourmet food choices to the late-night dining scene.

In East Dallas Airric Heidelberg is planning to open an indie restaurant offering gourmet-quality food that is fast and wholesome for the late-night crowd. Heidelberg is an entrepreneurial chef who currently operates Kingdom Kitchen, where he provides personal chef services, catering, and menu development.

This will be the chef’s first solo undertaking in partnership with owners of Italian restaurant Gallo Nero. Heidelberg, who is a competitive body builder, has a degree in nutrition. His cooking experience began as a boy helping his grandparents prepare family meals. Additionally, he worked under four-star chefs before striking out on his own.

Heidelberg explained the reasoning behind the name Invasion:

"The name of the restaurant refers to an invasion of your taste buds. It's gourmet food delivered fast, fresh, and healthy with quality ingredients."

The menu for Invasion will include a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich, a shrimp entrée, vegan bowls and the always popular wings. Beer and wine will also be available.

One of Heidelberg’s priorities is delivering high quality food to the late-night dining crowd. Presently, those diners are pretty much limited to taco’s and pizza. On Friday and Saturdays, Invasion will be open until 3:00 am. Flyer printing provides a way for new establishments to target a specific clientele.

An opening date has not been set, but it is expected to be in early April.
