Dog Haus, a California eatery that specializes in gourmet hot dogs, is expanding into Texas and it has chosen Lemmon Avenue in Dallas as its inaugural location.
Ron Ryan, a transplanted Chicagoan, is responsible for bringing Dog Haus to the Lone Star state. According to Ryan, who has lived in Texas since the 90s, he feels being raised in the Windy City gives him special insight into the nuances of what makes a great hot dog.
The chain, which sells what it refers to as craft casual hot dogs, debuted in Pasadena, California five years ago and quickly spread from there. The Lemmon Avenue location is expected to open in late 2015 with additional locations anticipated to open in 2016.
The success of a new restaurant’s opening often depends on quality of the pre-opening advertisement. Many entrepreneurs use the time spent constructing or renovating a location to drum up interest and build excitement with the help of a banner printing service.
In addition to offering jumbo hot dogs, vegan sausages, veggie dogs, and 40 toppings, Dog Haus also serves Black Angus burgers. All meat is 100% natural prime cuts, and hot dogs are skinless and all-beef. All hot dogs and burgers are served on King’s Hawaiian rolls, hot dogs on a line of three pull-apart rolls, and burgers on a two-by-two square of four rolls.
