Cashing in on the breakfast restaurant trend, a Starwood Café location is opening in half of the former location for the Gordon Biersch brewpub in the Shops at Park Lane.
The local family-owned restaurant chain, Starwood Café, offers breakfast and lunch and has launched 10 locations during the past five years, primarily across the western and northern suburbs of Dallas.
Andy Rushiti, the chain’s founder was raised in the restaurant business with his family operating a number of eateries in Illinois. Rushiti has explained that launching a chain was not his original intent; however, the expansion evolved naturally as more family members joined the endeavor.
The same Logo Design is used throughout a chain of businesses but each individual location requires its own business card printing featuring its individual address, phone number and possibly web address.
All of the chain’s locations carry the same menu, which includes what one would expect at a traditional diner. Bacon and eggs are the most popular item but other egg combinations are available, as well as specialty pancakes, waffles, steel cut oats, and crepes.
Non-breakfast choices include chicken-fried steak and other warm, simple comfort food choices as well as salads, hamburgers, a turkey bacon club, panini sandwiches, and the classic Reuben.
The average cost per person is about $12. The Park Lane opening is expected to take place in Spring 2020.
