Fair Park to hold Jurassic Park-like exhibit

The realistic, exhibit of life-size animatronic dinosaurs, Jurassic Quest, has made some adjustments and will soon offer Dallas residents a drive-thru experience.

Jurassic Quest will be found at Fair Park outside the Tower Building from June 26 – July 5, with the exception of June 29 and June 30. Exhibit hours will be from 11 am to 8 pm on the first day and will thereafter be 9 am to 8 pm.

The public will be offered an interactive experience lasting between 30 and 60 minutes featuring more than 70 dinosaurs that move and roar. Among these Jurassic giants will be a 50-foot-long Megalodon.

Fair Park has been an annual stop for Jurassic Quest for years, usually in January or February. This year the quest starts later, and an online audio tour is included that visitors can take with them while they meet up with some of biggest dinosaurs that ever roamed the earth.

Ticket sales will be made online only and are good for entry any time within a predetermined time slot; slots will last around three hours. The cost per vehicle will be $49 and “dinosaur surprises” add-on packs starting at $12 are available as well. A free digital souvenir photo will be provided to each vehicle.
