New York City presently has the title of the country’s largest metro area, but a new report predicts that by the turn of the next century, Dallas-Fort Worth will have claimed that title.
An analysis by moveBuddha, a moving services site, estimates that the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex will grow to encompass 33.91 million people over the next 77 years. This conclusion was arrived at by taking into consideration the current migration trends and present population.
In addition to DFW holding the No. 1 biggest metro area spot, Houston and Austin will occupy positions No. 2 and No. 3 respectively. Currently, Los Angeles and Chicago immediately follow No. 1 New York of the most populous metros according to the report.
These projections could become a self-fulfilling prophecy, causing an increased demand for Business Cards as companies increasingly flock to these Texas cities in an attempt to beat the rush.
