According to a recently released U.S. News and World Report called “Best Companies to Work For,” 16 of those companies are across Dallas-Fort Worth with half of them being located here in Dallas.
Using six metrics, the annual report compares publicly traded companies throughout the world to find the best employers. Among the criteria used to evaluate these companies are job and company stability, work-life balance and flexibility, career opportunities and professional development, quality of pay, and benefits.
Based on publicly available data concerning each workplace and taking reader surveys into consideration, companies on the list may wish to publicize the fact by including it in their recruitment materials sent to Print shops.
This latest report consists of 29 separate lists including 24 industry-specific ones and four regional lists for which 549 companies were analyzed and compared. Among the companies were 300 across the United States, with the remaining ones being in Ireland, the United Kingdom, Bermuda, Switzerland, and Luxembourg.
Dallas companies that made the list include management software provider Thryve Holdings, Inc., with a yearly revenue of $904.03m and a payroll of more than 3,000 people. Another high-profile company on the list is the Dallas-based provider of financial services Comerica, with 7,800 employees. A second prominent financial services provider on the list is Veritex Community Bank.
Other Dallas companies included on the U.S. News’ Best Companies to Work for lists are Southwest Airlines, Enabit, Texas Instrument, Atmos Energy, and Invitation Homes.
